5 BEDROOM VILLA

Abu Dhabi villa nicknamed “PartyHouse” was designed for a young couple with no children who frequently entertain a large number of guests. There is a lot to offer: 5 bedrooms, men’s lounge, ladies’ living room, dining room and swimming pool. The property is located in the Khalifa City area of Abu Dhabi. Thanks to the pleasant, dry weather for the rest of the year, there is no need for a closed entrance area – you enter directly into the main lounge. I was asked to design a fully equipped, elegant and welcoming interior. Central dining table for 8 people would always be the meeting point, the place where you tell everybody how tough your day at work was.

INDUSTRIAL SPIRIT

This apartment was designed for a young gentleman and the biggest emphasis was on non-traditional design and low maintenance equipment. There used to be a factories in 19th century and this fact gave me the inspiration of industrial look for this apartment. My first idea was to create a connection with the history of this area by using real bricks as wall design. In the end, we decided to use stone cladding instead because of its colour and 3D profile. There is an Eggersmann kitchen; other furniture is also custom-made. I had the pleasure to design whole apartment. This project was realized in cooperation with Sedlák interier.

IN TAUPE HUES

I had the opportunity to work with wonderful clients who were not afraid of unusual design and bold ideas. The living room is divided into two parts – kitchen and relax area. There is no dining table: the bar with comfortable bar stools substitutes the missing dining table and serves also as a place for work. There is an invisible drawer in the bar with sufficient space for a laptop. The rough concrete and dark colours are balanced with the soft velvet upholstery of the window seat. Eyecatching item is for sure the wall light in a shape of jellyfish. All furniture in the apartment is custom-made including the kitchen which is made by Eggersmann. This project was realized in cooperation with Sedlák interier.

FAMILY HERITAGE

My client inherited very special appartment in Vysoké Mýto, Czech republic. From the first moment it was clear that this 100 square metre big area will be full of historical arthefacts and furniture. Few of them was directly in the appartment the others were found in the attic. All of them needed special treatment before being returned. The client wanted the reconstruction the less expensive I could provide but afterall we had to admit there was a lot of thing what needed an improvement. There was change of layout, completely new installation, kitchen, bathroom and restroom. The mission was to preserve as much native equipment as we can so the result will be natural for the client´s grandmother to see.
